NASA DC-8 AEROMMA Science Flight 10 (Toronto Flight #2)
2100: Aircrew Rest Begins (Friday, August 4)
0700: MX Pre-flight Start
0800: Start Science Instrument Pre-flight
0900: Aircrew Show / Crew Brief (Base Ops)
0915: Pre-flight Brief (Building 206 Hangar Floor)
1015: Doors Close
1035: Engine Start
1050: Taxi
1100: Takeoff
1835: Land
1905: Debrief (Building 206 Hangar Floor)
 
NASA LaRC GIII (Flight 15 and 16)
0615: Mx show
0630: Aircrew show
0700: Pre-flight brief with GIII flyers (Gulfstream hut)
0810: Door close
0830: Takeoff (4 hour flight Toronto or NYC–decision by 0530)
1230: Land (airport TBD in US but near Toronto/NYC)
1330: Takeoff 
1730: Land WPAFB
1745: Plane side debrief
 
NASA JSC GV (Flight 9)
0530: Mx show
0630: APU up and running for HSRL access
0700: Pre-flight brief with GV flyers (Gulfstream hut)
0815: Takeoff (9-10 hour flight over Toronto; backup of NYC - decision by 0530)
1745: Land WPAFB
Landing + 15 minutes: Plane side debrief

  • WPAFB Gate Hours
    • Gate 15A (Skeel Ave.): Monday - Friday 0600-1800
    • Gate 12A (Chidlaw Ave): Daily 24 hours

  • Foreign Nationals: please coordinate with your escorts to get on the base. Only FN Escorts that attended the FN Escort Brief are authorized. 
  • Newly arrived FN must go to the Pass & ID office with an escort to obtain a base Pass.
  • FNs are not permitted to drive on base.
