Overview:
- All instruments are now integrated on the aircraft
- Outdoor Satcom Testing has begun
Accomplishments:
- Outdoor Satcom testing, with Instrument teams in the GHOC has begun
- NOAA O3 and NWV, MTP, and GWAS complete Iridium testing
- All four instruments are complete with no testing planned on Tuesday
- MMS, Hawkeye, AIITS testing has begun
Issues/Watch items:
- No Ku Satcom Testing accomplished - the GH Ku Ground Terminal at Wallops was offline (a weather, alignment issue)
- System needs to be online next Tuesday & Wednesday to stay on schedule
- Discovered a Data-Ethernet connectivity issue to GHOST, suspected to Payload System based
- Therefore, Tuesday will begin with additional Hangar IT Testing to troubleshoot
- Most of Tuesday and all of Wednesday will be used for additional outdoor Satcom testing - to be concluded with the Pre-CST.
Upcoming Schedule:
No P.I. activity in the GH Hangar Sat or Sun or Monday (Holiday). GHOST LN2 Cryo servicing to be performed as scheduled.
Tuesday
- Begin the morning in the Hangar – troubleshoot GHOST Data-ethernet connectivity issue
- Aircraft outdoors for Satcom testing when GHOST IT issue resolved
- Wallops Ku Ground Terminal needed for testing
- MMS, Hawkeye, AIITS, MTP, GHOST Inst. Teams needed at 0900 (report to Hangar first)
- NOAA O3, NWV, GWAS, and MTP Team are not needed Tuesday
Wednesday
- Aircraft outdoors for Satcom Testing, all Inst. Teams needed in GHOC
- Pre-CST Test, as scheduled.
