PLAN OF THE DAY, THURSDAY, AUGUST 10

Our Ops Center 2.0 in building 1182 is now fully setup (almost..) Please note the following:

  • Only use the second door from the left (double doors)
  • The ESPO network is ESPO Network 2.0. Password: ESPOpass
  • There are military personnel working there, be considerate, keep your areas clean.
  • DO NOT unplug any computers or phones.
  • You may use the monitors available there (bring your own HDMI cables)
  • Careful with the furniture
  • For the mission briefing room, have your laptops fully charged, power outlets are limited.

Plan of the Day, Tuesday, August 2: NASA WB-57 Flight Day / NCAR G-V Hard Down Day
WB-57 & G-V Groups:

SLIPPERY WHEN WET: During rainy weather, use CAUTION on the walkway between Bldg. 1187 and the hangar, it gets slippery. We recommend taking the route outside the restricted area.

  • ALL NEW ARRIVALS MUST WEAR A FACEMASK UNTIL YOUR PCR RESULTS ARE RECEIVED.
  • REMINDER: Get your post-arrival PCR test done upon arrival at Incheon International Airport (ICN).
  • NO HATS INSIDE THE FLIGHTLINE unless it has a chinstrap (FOD risk).
  • FOD Control: is EVERYONE’s responsibility. If you see trash/debris on the flight line, please pick it up.
  • Bags with reflective vests, ear plugs, and masks in the hangar floor of Bldg. 1187. Please grab what you need.
  • Stay safe, hydrated, watch for signs of fatigue. Do not become a heat casualty.
  • All arrivals for Aug. 2 & Aug. 3 are on the current NASA EAL and may take a taxi to the Osan AB Main Gate, or the ITT bus at ICN.

  • BADGING OFFICE CLOSED SATURDAY & SUNDAY
  • COMMISARY/BX PRIVILEGES: We expect to get an answer on the authorization for ACCLIP participants to use those facilities by next Wednesday.DO NOT TRY TO USE THEM UNTIL CLEARED TO DO SO. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, ASK ESPO.

  • Non-powered bicycles do not require a Personal Transportation Device license. Base Outdoor Recreation has rentals. If you rent one, use proper safety riding gear.
