Internet Connectivity to MTS:
Some personnel on the NASA-connect network are still having issues accessing MTS, if you are one of those affected, we have a couple of options, give them a try today to ensure it works for you tomorrow.

  • We’ve setup a temporary cellular hotspot in room 110 (network: ESPOMifi1, password: ESPOpass).
    • The bandwidth is limited, so only personnel that cannot connect to the nasa network should use it.
    • Limit the connection to one device per person
    • Disable automatic downloads for the device you connect to the ESPOMifis
    • Do not use for large data consumption.
    • Once you connect to the network(s), to avoid any connection issues, go to your network settings, select the network name to see the properties, and turn-off  Private Address
  • We’ve also setup hotspots in room 201 (ESPOMifi2 and ESPOMifi3, same password for both: ESPOpass). Same rules apply
  • The ESPOMifis will only operate during flight days and the day before flights.
  • Those in Bldg. 994 will have their own network connection (instructions will go out on the POD.)
  •

Remember that VPN is not needed to access MTS, you just need an MTS account. Send me an email if you need to get an account. https://mts2.nasa.gov/view/login
