08-20-21 Next science flight opportunity

For Palmdale planning assume the following: ER-2 transits on Thursday August 26, nominally 0900 takeoff. Friday August 27 is an RDO. Trucks depart Salina Friday; expect them to arrive Palmdale Monday August 30. Download begins Monday. Sammy (and a few others now in Salina) will be with us at download. Quincy Allison and Michael Schroeder from ESPO will be in Palmdale to unload trucks.

There is some uncertainty. The trucks could be late. If we fly science on Monday, August 23, ER-2 might transit one day early, on August 25. If this occurs, it would not change the shipping schedule.
