HS3
NASA's 2012 HS3 mission came to an end Nov. 6 when an unmanned Global Hawk aircraft flew a final data-collection mission in the North Pacific Ocean.
AV-1 Science Flight
Take off was delayed due to Ku issues but GH had a successful take off at 1336 PST (and is currently flying). The mission plan was revised to maintain the 1400 PST Tuesday landing time (because we used fuel while working the Ku issue). Please see MTS for the latest flight plan.
Tuesday 11/6
1400 Estimated Landing
No instrument access on Tuesday
We will also hope to have enough information to determine if the flight met the HS3 science success criteria.
