Shipping:
Obviously, your trucking companies will need a few days in advance to schedule collection of your equipment. Some of you might have already done so. If you are planning on having them show up on Wednesday, be ready to adjust that as needed.
Lodging:
We have notified the hotel of possible early departures and requested to allow us some flexibility. They haven’t responded yet, they might or might not grant us that, we are in contract after all. You might be charged for any unused nights if checking out early. We’ll get back to everyone on this as soon as we hear back.
There are a few maintenance activities that need to take place (gear swing, engine run, check flight), due to the time remaining to complete those, we are scrubbing tomorrow’s flight.

Outlook for Saturday, August 14th:
Flight, nominal 10am take off. Route south, between the Yucatan Peninsula and Cuba, then directly south over the Caribbean.
Our intercomparison flight is now tentatively planned for Tuesday.
RETURN SHIPMENTS: Every team is responsible for coordinating the return of their equipment back to your home institutions (shipping labels, cargo pick up, etc.). ESPO and JSC will assist with the palletizing, banding, and loading. Let me know how many pallets you will need by COB Friday.
