The Ecosystem Science and Technology Branch undertakes to inform the public about NASA research, data and technology developments through education and outreach. In some instances this occurs formally through classroom instruction by branch members and through development of Earth Science curriculum materials. In other instances this occurs informally such as when the branch provides posters, demonstrations and displays for museums, fairs, and air shows. The goal of these activities is to inform the public of NASA's roles and missions and how the Ecosystem Science and Technology Branch seeks to understand the Earth system in which we live.
