Sixth flight for the WISM instrument of this campaign. Flight was conducted around the Grand Junction airport and over the Grand Mesa. Kerry Speed, Tim Durham and Quenton Bonds flew. Pilots were Thomas Sommerville and Ross Rice. Sky was mostly clear with a few scattered clouds. The aircraft flew at 5000 ft above ground level.
Flight plan was for science flights over the Grand Mesa and included flight tracks over the airport to pass over the corner reflectors going to and returning from the Grand Mesa. The radiometer worked well. The radar worked well except a computer hang partway through the flight caused the loss of one channel. The flight plan was completed except the final overpass of the corner reflectors at the airport.
