Mission Summary: 
Wednesday, July 28th was the eighth flight of the LIAISE campaign. SLAP was flown on low-altitude mapping line with 350m separation between lines. Due to the low-altitude the SLAP was operated in only passive mode on the target bax.  Then SLAP was flown over the CESBIO sites.
At the beginning of the flight, a few minutes after taking off, the Valencia Anchor Station was also scanned by SLAP for only one line.

On the way back from the target area to Valencia airport, was calibration was also performed at 5500ft altitude. At this part, radar was also utilized.

Comments:SLAP eighth flight in Spain in support of LIASE. Following departure from LEVC, aircraft transitted approximately 30nm west to execute a single transect overflight of Valencia Anchor Station (ESA SMOS), southwest to northeast, at 1500 ft AGL. Upon completion, conducted transit north to science area and conducted 13x low altitude survey lines flown from NW - SE at approximately 1000' AGL. Morning flight conditions were smooth. Following last line of preplanned low-altitude rastor pattern, aircraft transitted east approx. 20nm to 41.512N/1.446E to conduct single transect flyover of natural fire extinguished 2 days prior; broken cloud layer at 5000 ft MSL precluded descent to planned flyover height of 1500 ft AGL and altitude was maintained at 5000 ft MSL (approx. 2500 ft AGL). Completed water calibration at 5.5K MSL over buoy location at 40.683N/1.467E on return from science area. RTB uneventful.
