Mission Location:
Ebro Basin, Spain
Mission Summary:

Tuesday, July 27th was the seventh flight of the LIAISE campaign. SLAP was flown on low-altitude mapping line. Due to the low-altitude the SLAP was operated in only passive mode. The day before the flight day, there was a massive rain on the target area which made the whole target area (and out of the target box) be soaked with water and there were many areas with standing water. During the flight the UI for SLAP control broke once which was fixed by restarting the whole SLAP system.
At the beginning of the flight, a few minutes after taking off, the Valencia anchor station was also scanned by SLAP for only one line.
On the way back from the target area to Valencia airport, was calibration was also performed at 5500ft altitude. At this part, radar was also utilized.
