Payload Configuration:
AVIRIS-NG
Nav Data Collected:
Yes
Total Flight Time:
5.4 hours
Comments:
Took off late for a variety of reasons at 10:10 PST. Landed at 1533 for a 5.4 hour flight. Stu said the weather was perfect – the clearest over So Cal he has ever seen flying the ER-2 airplane. There was a little haze over the Central Valley and Santa Barbara. Stu said he could see individual cars through the scope flying at 17,500 feet. There was a little delay getting a successful AVIRIS-NG NAV INIT and getting out of the restricted airspace because of Air Traffic Control. All lines were successfully flown. The Q8 fail light is still intermittent. AVIRIS-NG appeared to be working nominally; data appears to be good. Stu Broce was the pilot.
