Comments:
The objective for Flight 16-6022 was to fly the PV instrument near 70,000 feet at solar noon. The ER-2 got to 69,400 feet before starting the PV line. Couldn't get to 70k feet because of too much fuel onboard. Matt Myers (PV PI) said that this is no big deal. Tim gradually descended (~500 fpm) to 60k feet by end of data-collection line. Twenty minutes of PV data were obtained. Matt Myers confirmed post-flight that good PV data were obtained. Today's flight was very successful. Tim Williams was the pilot.
