Purpose of Flight:Science
Comments:The first science flight from Iceland flew multiple passes over the Greenland ice sheet Summit Camp and proceeded to the northeast coast of Greenland and flew the Nares Straight, Kennedy Channel, Robeson Channel, and the Lincoln Sea over flying the most northerly point reached by the Franklin Bay Expedition. Sea ice data was recorded around Cape Morris Jessup and all the way down the west coast of the island. Data from MABEL observed to be normal by REVEAL monitoring in flight. A flight is planned for tomorrow on the southwest region of Greenland.
