SkyJumper

The SkyJumper is an all composite autonomous hand or bungee launched electric pusher type aircraft designed to carry payloads of up to two pounds. The SkyJumper will fly up to 1 hour and 45 minutes carrying a small gimbaled camera. Designed to operate in unimproved areas the SkyJumper features a "deep stall" landing function. The SkyJumper also has the ability to land autonomously. The Autopilot is designed to provide the user with a easy to manage platform. Navagation guidance is through GPS, airspeed and altitude from pitot static. The comm link for the SkyJumper is through Maxstream X-tend modems which offer range of up to 40 miles if using high gain antennas. Using standard antennas the range is 7 - 14 miles. Cruse is between 30 and 40 knots, dash speed ~ 60 knots with altitudes of up to 15,000' MSL.
